Ruudy 6 Records Signs New Distribution Deal for Patrick Leonard's "It All Comes Down to Mood"

Acoustic Sounds will now handle worldwide distribution

Patrick Leonard's acclaimed album It All Comes Down to Mood will now be distributed by Acoustic Sounds. Record retailers who tried to re-order the record from the previous distributor were told 'we're out" rather than "there's a new distributor," which only compounded the issues that lead to the distribution change.

The album has so far received rave reviews in Goldmine and Germany's MINT Magazine, plus another in the next issue of The Absolute Sound. If you can read German here it is:

If your favorite record seller says "we're out and don't know how to order more" (from the previous distributor), have them contact Acoustic Sounds.

I got mine at Bandcamp. I have no way of knowing, but assume he gets a better cut there than with Acoustic Sounds

And we also get a free 24/48 copy in the deal, if desired ... which music labels and distributions like AS aren't interested in doing.

I like the Bandcamp business model; it's a useful mix of physical media and digital AND full previews ... which music labels and distributions like AS aren't interested in doing. No guesses where I buy from when possible. When they were new we whined about lossy files and eventually they added lossless (this was years ago of course.)

I don’t want to be negative because I have not listened on vinyl. I’m sure it does sound great. Streaming it, it’s a very long album. I liked the tracks but started to lose focus a bit at the end due to the length. 40 minutes works for a reason.

I ordered this album 2 separate times @ $70.00 each, from Patrick Leonards Shopify Store at the beginning of April. Both times I immediately got the message: "We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent."

After a couple weeks, I sent an email to Patrick Leonards' Shopify email account asking when would these ship. No response. After another week or so I sent another email to his Shopify Store email... still no response. And a 3rd message a week or so ago. I also messaged him at his Facebook account, and no reply.

Don't care how good of a musician, if you are personally selling your music and you don't take care of the customer, if you don't respond to emails or otherwise avoid/disrespect those who have given you money, you have no respect from me.

Now I have to file 2 different claims to try and get my money back.
