Sierra Sound Announces American Distribution of Connected Fidelity's TT HUB Turntable
U.K. brand specializes in designer Michal Osborn's acoustic isolation and other high-end audio products
The TT-Hub turntable and its included isolation base are constructed of bamboo ply—a material chosen for acoustics, durability, and sustainability. The belt drive turntable features a quartz clock-regulated controller with fine speed tuning, feeding an outboard AC-synchronous motor housed in a heavy aluminum chassis. A precision bearing, consisting of a PEEK (polyetheretherketone) thrust pad and jeweled ball, supports a 30mm thick acrylic platter with a special “foamed” surface to break up resonance.
The TT-Hub retails for $5000 USD and comes in light or dark wood finish. Compatible with a wide range of tonearms the TT-Hub can be special ordered in a version which will accommodate a two-tonearm setup. Sierra Sound will offer special package pricing of the TT-Hub with tonearms from Sorane, AMG, and ViV Laboratory. Package pricing will also be available on TT-hub units purchased with Benz Micro phono cartridges.
In addition to this new turntable, Sierra Sound will be handling US distribution of other products from Connected Fidelity, including their line of acoustic isolation pucks known as The Float System, that can be placed under turntables, electronics, or loudspeakers to reduce mechanical resonance and provide acoustic isolation. The Float pucks are adaptable to many different applications and a range of interface options are available.
The TT-Hub turntable and Float isolation pucks are available for immediate order, please email info@sierrasound.net for pricing details, dealer info, etc.
