Craft Recordings Celebrates 60th anniversary of Vince Guaraldi's Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus featuring the GRAMMY Award-winning instrumental hit "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" with a Small Batch (limited to 3000 copies) all-analog edition of the original album cut by Bernie Grundman using the original master tapes, "One-Step" processed and pressed at RTI on 180 gram NeoTech VR900 compound. Set for release February 24th, 2023, the Small Batch version is now available for pre-order.

Craft also announced today a special deluxe 2 CD/3 LP release that includes 16 bonus tracks including 12 previously unreleased selections with outtakes and alternate takes of nearly every album track. This version has been digitally remastered by audio engineer Paul Blakemore, with "the original album cut from the original master", while the bonus material was transferred from the original analog tapes by Plangent Processes. For this release Kevin Gray cut lacquers at Cohearent Audio and RTI pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Both physical formats include new, in-depth liner notes by jazz writer Andrew Gilbert. The digital version comes in standard and Hi-Res options.

The CD and digital formats drop November 18th, while both the limited to 3000 copies Small Batch and 3 LP editions will be released February 24th, 2023. You can pre-order these today as well as listen to a previously unreleased track at that link.
