Warsaw Audio Video Show 2025 Day Two Coverage
record attendance reported by show organizer
I just got a report from show organizer Adam Mokrzycki about last week's record breaking show. According to Adam, the show attracted 14,881 unique visitors. Counted as they are at the Munich and AXPONA shows that would be around 19,000 attendees as those shows count a single visitor going all 3 or 4 days as 3 or 4 visitors.
In addition, the Warsaw show had 230 exhibitors--an all time high, exhibiting in 188 rooms another all time high. 71 members of the International press attended from Europe, USA, Canada, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan--another all time high.
Next year the show will add 6 additional big rooms, a few of which you'll see in this video, which begins back at the stadium as I'd missed a few key rooms in the new section and the new recently announced Technics SL-1200GME turntable arrived after I'd already left day one.
You'll see the Technics turntable, the big rooms featuring brands including Soulution, Boulder, Ypsilon, Kroma, Marten, Oneiros, Wadax, Gobel, Brinkmann, Polish electrostatic manufacturer, Lirogon and others.
Later I started covering the vibrant Polish audio scene back at the Radisson Sobieski Blue hotel, which was spread amongst the 8 hotel floors as well as the ground floor convention center area. Finally I made it over to the Golden Tulip hotel where my friend Ken Kessler gave a reel-to-reel tape presentation in the RCM room. I edited it down to around 15 minutes. Kessler played some very convincing commercial 1/4 track tapes and a few "special" ones as well. And that' takes care of day two! One more video coming covering all the exhibits at both of the hotels, of mostly Polish audio companies.
