Wilson Audio Introduces New Sabrina V at Innovative Audio NYC

replaces the Sabrina X

Wilson Audio Specialties introduced the new $28,000 Sabrina V loudspeaker at a July 24th event at Innovative Audio in New York City. Long time Wilson employee--Director of Sales-- and award winning recording engineer Peter McGrath plays the music, only a bit of which is included in this video because what's the point of picking it up with Bluetooth microphones?

Industry veteran and new Wilson employee Patrick Butler describes the considerable differences between the new Sabrina V and the Sabrina X that it replaces. Key among the upgrades is the inclusion of the midrange magical 7" Alnico magnet midrange driver now found throughout most of the Wilson loudspeaker lineup. Innovative Audio's Elliott Fishkin introduces the event by discussing the purpose of a fine audio system and what it's supposed to do to and for the listener.

We went to the St. Louis show of the Lampedusa: Concerts for Refugees tour in 2016. It was Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Buddy Miller, the Milk Carton Kids, and Ry Cooder. They all signed autographs on the event posters, and we got to tell Ry how much his music meant to us. He said "Thanks a lot" and looked embarrassed. Oh yeah, a little-known Brit named Robert Plant was there, too.
